Tsarukyan Climbs Lightweight Rankings After Dominating Hooker at UFC Fight Night

Fighter Arman Tsarukyan proved his worth to the world of mixed martial arts by defeating Dan Hooker in the main event of UFC Fight Night held in Doha, Qatar. Tsarukyan, after a period of inactivity of more than a year and a half, made it clear that he remains one of the best in the lightweight category.

Saturday’s victory was crucial for Tsarukyan, as it allowed him to regain his place in Alofoke Deportes’ divisional ranking. Due to his inactivity, Tsarukyan was unranked, but his outstanding performance catapulted him back to second place among the 155-pound fighters.

Regarding the rest of the rankings, there was a change in the welterweight weight class, where Ian Machado Garry, after his victory over Belal Muhammad, climbed positions. Machado Garry moved up from number 5 to 4, while Muhammad dropped three places, landing in sixth place.
