Hernandez expressed his regret for the situation through his social media, apologizing to the UFC and De Ridder, and stating that he is focusing on his recovery to return stronger. De Ridder will seek his fifth octagon victory in less than a year. Recently, he secured a split decision win against Robert Whittaker in July. Allen, a four-year UFC veteran, comes into this fight after a notable decision victory over Marvin Vettori in July, during UFC 318.
