Umpires Announced for the World Series
Toronto will be the stage for the World Series, and the names of those in charge of administering justice on the field are already known. Mark Wegner will lead the umpiring team for the first time in his career.
The crew will consist of Jordan Baker, Adam Hamari, Adrian Johnson, Will Little, Alan Porter, and John Tumpane. Hamari, Johnson, Little, and Tumpane will be making their World Series debut.
Wegner, with experience since 1998, has participated in the 2013 and 2017 Series. Porter will be in his third World Series, while Baker will participate for the second time.
In the first game in Toronto, Little will be behind the plate, with Wegner at first base, Tumpane at second, Porter at third, Hamari in left field, Baker in right field, and Johnson as a reserve.
For the second game, Johnson will be behind the plate. Porter will be the head of the umpiring crew in the second game, with Wegner as the reserve.
Johnson debuted in 2006, Porter and Tumpane in 2010, and Baker in 2012. Little worked his first game in 2013, followed by Hamari.
Regarding accuracy, Porter had an outstanding performance in the regular season.

Most of the umpires were already present in the Division Series, and one of them was crew chief in the Wild Card Series.
