The Minnesota Twins have activated outfielder Matt Wallner from the 10-day injured list, sources reported. Wallner, who has been out of action since mid-April due to a left hamstring strain, demonstrated his recovery with a solid performance in rehab games at Triple-A St. Paul.

During his six rehab games, Wallner batted .320, hitting five home runs and accumulating 13 RBIs.

Before his injury, the 27-year-old player had participated in 18 games with the Twins, where he batted .263, with one home run and three RBIs.

In his time with Minnesota since 2022, Wallner has maintained a batting average of .252, with 30 home runs and 91 RBIs in 187 games.

In a related move, the Twins sent outfielder DaShawn Keirsey Jr. to St. Paul.

Keirsey Jr. has participated in 45 games with Minnesota this season, with a batting average of .109, one home run, four RBIs, and 21 strikeouts.
