Steelers Secure DeShon Elliott with Multi-Million Dollar Extension
The Pittsburgh Steelers have reached an agreement with safety DeShon Elliott to extend his contract for two years and $12.5 million. The agreement includes $9.21 million guaranteed.
Elliott, 28, was one of the most prominent defenders against the team’s run last season. His achievements include two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, four tackles for loss, and a total of 108 combined tackles.
The player, selected in the sixth round of the draft, played his first four seasons in the league with the Baltimore Ravens and the Detroit Lions. Before joining the Steelers, he also had a season with the Miami Dolphins.
The Steelers had signed Elliott as a free agent before the 2024 season to a two-year contract.
Throughout his career, Elliott has accumulated 395 tackles in 72 games.
