The anticipated matchup between the Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves at Bristol Motor Speedway, known as the MLB Speedway Classic, has exceeded all expectations. With over 85,000 tickets sold, the event will set a new attendance record for a single Major League Baseball game.

The previous attendance record, with 84,587 spectators, was set on September 12, 1954, during a doubleheader at Cleveland Stadium between the Cleveland and the New York Yankees.
The magnitude of the event is reflected in the diversity of the attendees. Fans from all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and nine countries from four continents have purchased tickets to witness this historic encounter.
To add a special touch, two baseball legends, Chipper Jones representing the Braves and Johnny Bench representing the Reds, will be in charge of throwing the first pitch at the opening ceremony.
