The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is Coming!

Will the American League be able to maintain its dominance over the National League, achieving its 11th victory in 12 years? New talents like Pete Crow-Armstrong, alongside veterans of the stature of Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, will join the rest of the best baseball players at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, for this year’s Summer Classic. Alofoke Deportes brings you the complete coverage! After the last ball is thrown, we will offer you the experts’ analysis.

Game Predictions

Who will win the All-Star Game and by what score?

The National League 5-2. The National League has a better lineup and will win the game for the second time since 2012, when Melky Cabrera won the MVP in Kansas City.

Jorge Castillo

The National League will win 3-1. The National League has a lineup far superior to that of the American League, and in an All-Star Game where pitchers are unlikely to pitch more than one inning each, the ability to accumulate runners on base when facing a pitcher for the first time is paramount. The National League is better equipped to do so than the American League.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player of the All-Star Game?

Cal Raleigh. He’s going to hit a home run… that’s a fact. He might even hit two. The “Big Dumper” will hit a shot to right field, putting another exclamation point on an already incredible season. He won the Home Run Derby, and he will win the All-Star Game MVP.

Jesse Rogers

Pete Crow-Armstrong. He will have the most productive offensive night among National League starters and, at some point, will make an incredible catch in center field. Crow-Armstrong is 95 games into his season at age 23 and has already accumulated 4.9 wins above replacement according to FanGraphs. He has become a star before our eyes, and seems to love the spotlight more than most.

Alden Gonzalez

Which matchup are you most looking forward to seeing?

Let’s kick off the bottom of the first inning with a bang, as Tarik Skubal, the American League’s starting pitcher, will face Shohei Ohtani, who is only 1-9 against left-handers. Will the reigning American League Cy Young winner strike out the reigning National League MVP early, or will Ohtani finally connect against Skubal? Not many matchups are guaranteed in the All-Star Game, but this one is, and it’s one of the best.

Rogers

Jacob Misiorowski against anyone. The inclusion of the rookie right-hander after only five starts in his career caused a stir in the majors, and all eyes will be on him once he steps on the mound. When he does, his 103 mph fastball will undoubtedly play in his only inning. It’s as tough a matchup as any pitcher in this game.

Castillo

Which All-Star player will fans know better after Tuesday night’s game?

The San Diego Padres ended up sending three relievers to the All-Star Game, but there was a clear representative from the bullpen from the start: Adrian Morejon. The 26-year-old lefty doesn’t get much notoriety, but he has been absolutely dominant, with an ERA of 1.85 and an expected slugging percentage of .263. He doesn’t strike out batters at the absurd rates of some of today’s most dominant pitchers, but he gets outs. And he’ll probably get three big ones at the end of the night.

Gonzalez

You might already know Misiorowski because his fastball reaches 100 mph and his slider is in the 90s mph, but this is the kind of showcase built for him. One inning, giving it his all and proving that, although his career only has five starts, this will be the first of many All-Star Game appearances for the 23-year-old player.
