Lindor Reaches 30-30 Mark with the Mets

In a standout performance, Francisco Lindor achieved the 30-30 mark for the second time in his career. The New York Mets player hit a home run against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.

Lindor’s home run came in the third inning, when the Mets were already leading 2-0 on the scoreboard. The solo hit, connected against pitcher Shota Imanaga, sent the ball beyond the left field stands, reaching the famous Waveland Avenue. With this home run, Lindor added his fortieth home run of the season, adding 31 stolen bases to his personal count.

In 2023, the five-time All-Star also achieved the feat of 31 home runs and 31 stolen bases, demonstrating his consistency and versatility on the field. This season, the Mets are proud to have two 30-30 players, as Juan Soto has also achieved this feat. In 1987, Howard Johnson and Darryl Strawberry also accomplished this feat for the team. Additionally, the Mets have three players with at least 30 home runs for the first time in their history: Lindor, Soto, and Pete Alonso, demonstrating the team’s offensive strength.
