The New York Mets bolster their bullpen by acquiring right-handed reliever Tyler Rogers from the San Francisco Giants, according to confirmed sources.

The transaction represents a significant investment for the Mets, who sent right-handed pitcher José Butto, outfielder prospect Drew Gilbert, and right-handed pitcher prospect Blade Tidwell to the Giants.

The move comes on the same day that Rogers’ identical twin brother, Taylor Rogers, was transferred from the Cincinnati Reds to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
