In an exciting baseball game, San Diego Padres reliever Mason Miller demonstrated his power on the mound. However, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. responded with authority. Gurriel hit an impressive two-run home run in the eighth inning, impacting a 103.9 mph fastball from Miller and tying the score 5-5. This hit became the most powerful home run since MLB began tracking pitches in 2008.
Gurriel’s night was outstanding, including another two-run home run in the first inning. Miller, known for his speed, was acquired from the Athletics recently and usually throws over 100 mph, reaching 104.2 mph on his fastest pitch of the night. It’s something that just happened. It’s not that easy.

The Padres finally took the victory 10-5 in 11 innings. It was a loud contact. We know Mason Miller has a great arm. It’s a huge arm and he’s going to challenge you with it. Our hitter was ready.
