German Marquez, Rockies Pitcher, Could Go on Injured List for Tendinitis

DENVER – Colorado Rockies veteran right-handed pitcher Germán Márquez is suffering from biceps tendinitis in his throwing arm and could be placed on the injured list, according to reports to reporters on Tuesday.

Márquez felt stiffness in his shoulder during his last start and underwent an MRI on Monday. The results showed no structural damage, according to multiple reports.

Your next opening in the rotation is scheduled for Saturday.

This season, the 30-year-old player has a 3-11 record with a 5.67 ERA in 20 starts for the Rockies, the team with the worst record in the major league.

Márquez has played his entire 10-year career with Colorado, accumulating a record of 68-67 with an ERA of 4.54.
