Dodgers Announce Rotation for World Series Start
The Los Angeles Dodgers have confirmed their pitching rotation for the first two games of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, according to manager Dave Roberts. Blake Snell will be the Game 1 starter, followed by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2. This decision replicates the order used by the Dodgers in the first two games of the National League Championship Series, where they swept the Milwaukee Brewers. Snell had an outstanding performance in Game 1 of the Championship Series, with 10 strikeouts in eight scoreless innings. Yamamoto, for his part, pitched a complete game in Game 2, the first for the Dodgers in the postseason since 2004. Roberts indicated that the starting pitchers for Games 3 and 4, which will be played at Dodger Stadium, have not yet been defined. However, he suggested that Tyler Glasnow and Shohei Ohtani could be next in the rotation.Ohtani, who was named MVP of the National League Championship Series, had an outstanding performance with 10 strikeouts and three home runs in Game 4, securing the pass to the World Series. The Dodgers’ starters combined for 35 strikeouts in the Championship Series. Snell, Yamamoto, Glasnow, and Ohtani achieved an ERA of 0.63 against the Brewers, allowing only two earned runs in 28⅔ innings. Roberts also mentioned that the bullpen alignment is still being discussed, especially considering the presence of right-handed power hitters on the Blue Jays team, something they didn’t face in the previous series.I think we’re going to repeat the same rotation, for sure for the first two games.

Tanner Scott, reliever, is eligible for the World Series roster after being removed from the National League Division Series roster due to emergency surgery. The manager is awaiting medical clearance to include him. There’s one position we could debate, and we’ll continue to debate. Other than that position, it’ll probably look exactly the same.
