Los Angeles, California – Los Angeles Dodgers make significant moves on their roster, designating Austin Barnes for assignment and promoting the promising Dalton Rushing.

Changes in the Dodgers’ Catching

The Los Angeles Angels have decided to dispense with the services of the experienced catcher Austin Barnes, who has been a key figure on the team for over a decade. Instead, the Dodgers have called up the young prospect Dalton Rushing, seeking to inject new energy and offensive potential into the team.

Rushing, considered one of the best prospects according to the rankings, arrives at the team with the aim of backing up Will Smith at the catcher position, in addition to contributing with his left-handed bat.

Rushing, 24, has shown great performance in Triple-A, where he was batting .308/.424/.514 in 31 games.
