Los Angeles Dodgers Celebrate with Championship Rings
In an emotional pre-game ceremony, the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their second consecutive World Series title, receiving their dazzling championship rings. The event took place on Friday night, marking a special moment for the team. Shohei Ohtani, the Japanese star, took out his ring from a blue box that showed highlights of last year’s postseason, culminating in the Game 7 victory against the Toronto Blue Jays. Ohtani put it on, celebrating with his fist in the air. This achievement represents the first time in Dodgers history that the team wins consecutive World Series titles. It’s their third championship in six years.Today was a day full of emotions for me and for the guys. This is how we close a chapter of the 2025 season and it was incredible for us, it gives us motivation for what lies ahead.

The biggest ovation was for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the World Series Most Valuable Player, who greeted the crowd. Freddie Freeman, upon receiving his third ring, was acclaimed with chants of “Freddie! Freddie!”. Freeman won his first title with Atlanta. Ohtani, Freeman, and Betts posed with their fists in the air. The entire team gathered around the mound to show off their rings at the end of the ceremony, which was hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson. The USC band performed and formed “LA” in the outfield. It’s something very special. I looked at it for a moment, but I was so focused on the game that I couldn’t really enjoy it as I want, so I’ll probably look at it tonight.

Orel Hershiser, hero of the franchise’s launch in the 1988 World Series, went up to the mound to throw the ceremonial first pitch. He was called and replaced by Clayton Kershaw, who retired last season after 18 years with the Dodgers. Kershaw threw the ball and then his former teammates presented him with his ring.I didn’t like it

The jewel, adorned with diamonds and sapphires, presents a ring-within-a-ring design and contains home plate dirt from Game 7. A total of 86 diamonds in 14-karat yellow gold spell out “World Champions” around the face. A single diamond symbolizes being the number 1 team in baseball. He deserved that ovation and that ring. He’s a winner and retired at the top.

The L.A. logo contains 17 blue sapphires, representing the number of postseason games the team won. Behind the logo are 79 diamonds with 48 round sapphires. The dates of the team’s nine World Series championships and 15 round sapphires surround the top of the ring. Another 50 diamonds decorate the top and bottom of the bezel. A total of 70 round diamonds frame the centerpiece. Each ring has the player’s signature engraved on the inside of the band. “Back 2 Back” is on the right side of the ring. The outer band features the numbers 4,012,470, which signify the Dodgers’ attendance in 2025.This ring means much more than people really think. It’s like remembering what happened last year and how special it was.
