Walker Buehler ready to return to the Red Sox rotation
Right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler is scheduled to come off the 15-day injured list and join the Red Sox rotation for a start on Tuesday, according to an announcement before Saturday’s game at Fenway Park.
Buehler, 30, was placed on the injured list on May 2 due to bursitis in his throwing shoulder.
I don’t think if it were at the end of the year we would have done exactly the same thing. But it’s too early in the year to try to force it.

On Saturday, Buehler threw 62 pitches in three innings in a live workout.
He is expected to throw between 85 and 90 pitches in his return.
I don’t think I’m going to throw 110.
