Jacob Misiorowski, Brewers’ Star Rookie, to Injured List

The young star pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers, Jacob Misiorowski, has been placed on the injured list due to a contusion on his left tibia.

The news broke before its scheduled start against the Washington Nationals on Sunday.

The incident occurred during his last opening against the Chicago Cubs.

Misiorowski was hit in the shin by a hit connected by Seiya Suzuki in the first inning.

Subsequently, his knee buckled while throwing to first base after fielding a ground ball, allowing two runners to score.

Despite the injury, Misiorowski continued pitching for three additional innings before being replaced after 80 pitches.

So far this season, the 23-year-old pitcher has a 4-1 record with 47 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings.

In another related move, the Brewers called up Logan Henderson from Triple-A Nashville.
