Kyle Bradish Returns with Dominance on the Mound
The pitcher Kyle Bradish had a striking return after his Tommy John surgery, proving his worth on the mound. On Tuesday night, Bradish struck out ten batters in six innings, leaving a lasting impression on the game against Boston.Despite allowing only four hits, two of them were solo home runs, leading to his exit with a 2-0 deficit. This was the right-hander’s first start since June 14, 2024.
Trevor Story and David Hamilton hit home runs against Bradish in the second and third innings, respectively. Nathaniel Lowe singled in the fourth inning and Roman Anthony added another in the sixth, before being retired as part of a double play. Bradish threw 81 pitches, 51 of which were strikes, and achieved at least one strikeout in each inning. Furthermore, he didn’t concede any walks, demonstrating exceptional control.
