Los Angeles Angels Call Up Christian Moore
The Los Angeles Angels are set to call up infielder Christian Moore, the eighth overall pick in last year’s draft. According to sources, Moore could make his Major League debut on Friday night in Baltimore.
Moore, 22, was promoted to Triple-A in mid-May and has performed outstandingly, earning him the opportunity to bolster the Angels’ offense, which currently ranks 13th in runs scored in the American League.
So far this season, Moore has batted .279 with 5 home runs, 32 RBIs, and an OPS of .796, adding his performances in Double-A Rocket City and Triple-A Salt Lake.
According to the available information, Moore is the number 4 prospect in the Angels’ system.
