Boston – A heated argument between Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson and Red Sox first base coach José Flores shook the field at Fenway Park before Wednesday’s game.Neither team has revealed the exact reason for the confrontation.
A video circulating on social media captured the moment Anderson and Flores confronted each other during batting practice. Angels pitching coach Barry Enright also intervened in the dispute, before Red Sox third base coach Kyle Hudson attempted to mediate.
The video also showed Red Sox manager Alex Cora casually conversing with Anderson, who had given up five runs in 4 1/3 innings against Boston on Monday night.
