Tyler Alexander Opts for Free Agency After Being Designated by the Brewers
Left-handed pitcher Tyler Alexander, who was designated for assignment by the Milwaukee Brewers this week, has elected free agency after clearing waivers. Alexander, 30 years old, was assigned on Sunday. In the current season, Alexander recorded a 3-5 record with a 6.19 ERA and one save for the Brewers, participating in 21 games, including four starts. He accumulated 30 strikeouts and 12 walks in 36 and one-third innings.Its effectiveness in May was 9.24.
In his Major League career, Alexander has a 20-33 record with a 4.67 ERA in 164 appearances. Previously, he played for the Detroit Tigers from 2019 to 2023 and the Tampa Bay Rays in 2024, before joining the Brewers this season.
