Ronald Acuña Jr. Leaves Game with Achilles Tendon Discomfort

Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. was forced to leave the game against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night. The reason, as reported, was a right Achilles tendon issue.

The situation occurred in the sixth inning, when Acuña Jr. was chasing a ball in right field. After the play, he retired from the field, being followed by a member of the medical team towards the locker room.

Up to the time of his departure, Acuña Jr. had shown a remarkable performance in the season. The player has 15 home runs, 26 RBIs, and a batting average of .309.

It should be noted that on Monday night, Acuña Jr. had an outstanding performance, hitting two home runs and finishing the game with a 2-4 batting average.

The five-time All-Star and former Most Valuable Player (MVP) missed a large part of last season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee.
