Increase the Prize Pool at the Women’s PGA Championship
The Women’s PGA Championship has increased its prize money to $12 million, matching last month’s U.S. Women’s Open as the tournament with the largest purse of the season. The tournament winner, which will feature 156 players at Fields Ranch East in PGA Frisco, Texas, this week, will pocket $1.8 million. In last year’s edition, the prize money was $10.4 million.Knopp also added:We are incredibly proud to be able to do that. It’s part of creating a standard of excellence in women’s golf. The prize money is a very important part of that.

Amy Yang of South Korea won last year’s Women’s PGA Championship, achieving her first major title at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington. Yang registered a total of 7 under par, with a score of 281, surpassing Lilia Vu, Jin Young Ko of South Korea, and Miyu Yamashita of Japan by three strokes.We see it as the ultimate strategy when we think about the excellence we are trying to achieve to achieve success.
