With a total of 19 under par, Valimaki leads by two strokes over his closest pursuers, Michael Thorbjornsen and Patrick Rodgers, who shared a card of 68 strokes each. Competition at Sea Island intensifies, with the focus on securing the PGA Tour card for next season and the opportunity to win the first circuit title.
