The American team achieved a resounding victory at the Junior Ryder Cup this week in New York, reclaiming the title after an outstanding performance. Asterisk Talley and Anna Fang maintained an undefeated record, leading the American team in the singles session at the Nassau Country Club. The final score was 17 1/2 to 12 1/2 in favor of the United States over Europe, demonstrating the superiority of the home team.“We were at a disadvantage for a long time this morning, and these young people fought very hard and achieved the goal,” declared Suzy Whaley, captain of the American team and former president of the PGA of America. “They saw a sea of blue on the leaderboard and knew exactly where they were.
