Si Woo Kim Withdraws from Travelers Championship Due to Injury

South Korean golfer Si Woo Kim was forced to withdraw from the Travelers Championship in the second round due to a back injury.

Kim, who had completed the first round with a score of 71 strokes (+1), joins Jordan Spieth and Brian Campbell on the list of early withdrawals from the tournament, which is being held in Cromwell, Connecticut.

At the time of his retirement, Kim had accumulated a total of 8 strokes over par after 12 holes in the second round, including three bogeys and two double bogeys.

Jordan Spieth also withdrew from the tournament, after 12 holes in the first round, due to a neck and upper back injury. For his part, Brian Campbell withdrew before the first round began due to a shoulder injury.

Si Woo Kim, 29, has five professional career wins, including four on the PGA Tour, and is currently ranked number 61 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

The Travelers Championship is the last of the eight signature events of 2025 and offers a prize purse of $20 million.
