Fans attending the FedEx St. Jude Championship this weekend will have the opportunity to experience something similar to Scottie Scheffler.
Netflix has unveiled “Scottie’s Chicken Shack” at the event, referencing the golfer’s participation in “Happy Gilmore 2”.
In the movie, Scheffler makes a cameo where he hits a Team Maxi golfer and ends up handcuffed, in a scene reminiscent of the main character’s famous short fuse.
The scene also references Scheffler’s actual arrest by the Louisville Metro Police outside Valhalla Golf Club.
It depends. What’s for dinner?

Scheffler described the experience as “a lot of fun” and said that Adam Sandler and his team did a good job of making the golfers feel comfortable.
It’s one of the things I told them after we finished filming the movie, it was like, ‘You’re doing a great job, I think the movie will be great.’ But the most important thing is that everyone on the movie set was tremendous. Everyone was relaxed. They worked hard, but they had fun while doing it.

I think it’s a bit weird to see yourself, we were sitting there at the premiere, and every time I appeared on screen, it was a strange feeling and something I’m definitely not used to. But as I said, we had a lot of fun filming. It seems that the public’s reception has been really good.
