Scottie Scheffler will have his caddie Ted Scott at the Tour Championship

The world’s number one golfer, Scottie Scheffler, will have his usual caddie, Ted Scott, for this week’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club. Scottie Scheffler, who has already demonstrated a high level of play, will seek to consolidate his position in this important tournament. Ted Scott was absent from the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis and the entire BMW Championship in Baltimore, the first two stages of the FedEx Cup playoffs, due to a family matter in Louisiana. Last week, Michael Cromie, who was Chris Kirk’s caddie during the regular season, helped Scheffler secure his fifth win of the season at the BMW Championship. When Scheffler was asked last week about Scott’s availability for the Tour Championship, he wasn’t sure.

Ted is where he needs to be at the moment. I think being a caddie is probably the last thing on his mind, as it should be. I’ve been able to speak with him a few times. The family is in good spirits. Everyone seems to be doing well.
