Morgan Dominates at the US Senior Women’s Open: Commanding Victory!

CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Becky Morgan of Wales dominated the U.S. Senior Women’s Open on Sunday, finishing with a round of 70 strokes, three under par, to secure a six-stroke victory over Juli Inkster.

Morgan concluded the tournament with a total of 285 strokes, seven under par, at the San Diego Country Club. The former LPGA and Ladies European Tour winner, made her first appearance at the event after turning 50 in September.

Inkster, 65, carded a 71.

Liselotte Neumann placed third with par, after registering 74 strokes.

Maria McBride and Corina Kelepouris, who shared the lead with Morgan in the third round, shot rounds of 78 strokes, tying for fourth place with a total of 1 over par alongside 2024 winner Leta Lindley, who completed her participation with 73 strokes.

Annika Sorenstam, leader in the first round, shared eighth place with a cumulative score of 3 over par, after a round of 72.
