Mackenzie Hughes Leads the Procore Championship
Canadian golfer Mackenzie Hughes showcased his skill with an impressive round of 9 under par, signing a scorecard of 63 strokes to lead the Procore Championship. Meanwhile, all eyes were on the American Ryder Cup team, with mixed results. Ben Griffin, a Ryder Cup rookie, surprised with five birdies on the back nine, shooting a 64, just one stroke behind Hughes, matching Matt McCarty’s score. Russell Henley finished with 65 strokes, sharing a position with Lanto Griffin. Scottie Scheffler, who hadn’t finished outside the top eight since March, saw his streak interrupted by recording a 70.
