McIlroy Evaluates His Next Appearance Before the Masters

Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy is carefully considering whether to participate in another tournament before defending his title at the Masters next month, following a performance below expectations at the Players Championship. McIlroy, who was defending the title at TPC Sawgrass, saw his preparation affected by a back injury, which led him to finish in a disappointing tie for 46th place. In the coming days, McIlroy will assess his physical condition to determine whether he will compete again before heading to Augusta, where he completed his career Grand Slam last year.
