Kai Trump’s LPGA Tour Debut: A Challenge at The Annika

BELLEAIR, Fla. – Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, faced her LPGA Tour debut at The Annika with a result of 13 over par, completing the day with an 83. The young golfer, who is currently in her final year of high school, was positioned at the end of the group of 108 participants. In windy conditions at the Pelican Golf Club, Trump had a difficult start, with bogeys on the first four holes. His round included nine bogeys and two double bogeys, without achieving any birdies.

I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I think I made a lot of great shots.

The athlete, who has committed to the University of Miami, participated in the tournament thanks to a sponsorship exemption.

It was great because I know I hit it far, but playing with the best golfers in the world and being right there, or even surpassing them on some holes, felt really good. I feel like my game is in a good place, especially being just a high school senior.
