Tommy Fleetwood leads the DP World India Championship
The golfer Tommy Fleetwood continues his excellent season finale by taking the lead at the DP World India Championship. English, currently in 5th place in the world ranking, leads the most prestigious golf tournament held in India, thanks to his eight error-free birdies in the second round, reaching a total of 12 under par for the week. Shane Lowry and Brian Harman, both former Open champions, share second place, one stroke behind Fleetwood.Fleetwood described the course as a “unique challenge” and highlighted the importance of patience in this game. Ben Griffin is three strokes back, tied for seventh place. Rory McIlroy, who didn’t use his driver, managed to recover after some consecutive bogeys and finished the day with a 69, finishing six under par alongside Viktor Hovland.
