The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for a return to action, but this time on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament, an LPGA Tour event.

I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.

The pro-am event is scheduled for November 12th at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. In the previous edition, after her first season in the WNBA and being named Rookie of the Year, Clark attracted a large audience and generated considerable enthusiasm. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of the event. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by various injuries. She was only able to play 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Despite this, Clark’s team, the Indiana Fever, managed to reach the playoffs, although they were eliminated in the semifinals by the Las Vegas Aces.
