WNBA star Caitlin Clark is preparing for her return to action, but this time on the golf course.After a season marked by injuries, Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament on the LPGA Tour next month.
The pro-am event will take place on November 12th at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. In his first participation last year, Clark attracted a large number of followers, generating great interest.The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark has a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of the event.The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries, limiting her participation to only 13 games. She was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Despite this, the Indiana Fever, her team, managed to reach the playoffs, although they were eliminated in the semifinals by the Las Vegas Aces.I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.
