Keegan Bradley Reflects on the Ryder Cup: “A Brutal Event”

Bradley, who led the American team in the recent Ryder Cup, has expressed his disappointment and the emotional impact that the defeat had, especially playing at home.
Bradley’s team, despite being the favorite, found themselves in an unfavorable situation from the start, with a significant deficit before the final day. Bradley admitted that the situation was very emotional and sad.Bradley has acknowledged his share of responsibility for some errors, including the field configuration which, in combination with the rain, facilitated the game on a notoriously difficult field.
The captain of the American team has also commented that the period after the Ryder Cup has been one of the most difficult moments of his life.
Despite the bittersweet experience, Bradley has expressed his desire to play in the Ryder Cup again.
After being named captain, Bradley won the 2024 BMW Championship and his victory in Hartford gave him more individual wins in that period than any other American, except Scottie Scheffler.
Although there were times when he wished to be the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963, Bradley claims he made the right decision.
