Becky Morgan Wins U.S. Senior Women’s Open

Welsh golfer Becky Morgan dominated the U.S. Senior Women’s Open, securing the victory with a final round of 3-under par 70. Her performance gave her a six-stroke lead over Juli Inkster.

Morgan finished the tournament with a total of 7-under par 285 at the San Diego Country Club. This was his first participation in the event, after turning 50 in September. Previously, Morgan excelled in the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour.

Juli Inkster, 65 years old, finished the day with a score card of 71 strokes.

Liselotte Neumann finished in third place, with a total of par after a round of 74.

Maria McBride and Corina Kelepouris, who shared the lead with Morgan at the start of the final round, recorded 78 strokes each, tying for fourth place with Leta Lindley, winner in 2024, who signed a card of 73.

Annika Sorenstam, leader after the first round, tied for eighth position, with a total of 3-over par after a round of 72.
