Tim Petrovic signed a card of 66 strokes, four under par, to tie Steven Alker and Ricardo Gonzalez at the top of the leaderboard. For his part, the Argentinian Gonzalez, who shared the lead in the first round with Soren Kjeldsen, completed his round with 68 strokes.Miguel Angel Jiménez is one stroke behind the leaders, after a round of 66. Freddie Jacobson is also in the fight, with a total of three under par after a round of 67. Ángel Cabrera, winner of two majors this year (Regions Tradition and the Senior PGA Championship), is one under par, after a round of 68. The tournament winner secures a spot in the prestigious The Players Championship which will be held next year at TPC Sawgrass.
