Verstappen to Debut in Endurance at the "Green Hell" of Nordschleife
Max Verstappen, the brand new Formula 1 world champion, is preparing to debut in the world of endurance racing this weekend. Verstappen, who has made clear his intention to venture into other categories, will compete on the iconic Nordschleife circuit. The Dutch driver already had a test at Nordschleife, known as “Green Hell”, under the pseudonym “Franz Hermann”, preparing for this long-awaited debut. The German media Auto Motor und Sport confirmed Verstappen’s participation in this endurance race. Verstappen comes to this challenge after a victory in the Italian Grand Prix, his third win of the season. To be able to compete, Verstappen must pass an exam on Friday, an essential requirement to obtain the necessary documentation. If he passes the exam, Verstappen could compete on Saturday in a Porsche Cayman GT4 CS. Verstappen’s goal is to compete in a Ferrari 296 GT3 for the Swiss team Emil Frey Racing, which could be possible if he receives special authorization. Verstappen’s motivation in Formula 1 has been a topic of conversation lately.

It was a significant distraction to his well-being.
