Verstappen Fights to Keep Title Dream Alive in Qatar

The reigning world champion, Max Verstappen, has assured that he will “try everything” to keep his slim title hopes alive in the Qatar Grand Prix, which will be held on Sunday. Verstappen will remain in contention for this year’s championship if he manages to finish ahead of Lando Norris, the current championship leader, in Qatar. However, the Red Bull driver will start from third position on the starting grid. The Dutchman finished Saturday’s sprint race in fourth position, behind Norris. Despite this, Verstappen stated that he will not give up until it is mathematically impossible to defend his title.

Verstappen also added that the race will be tough, recalling the difficulties experienced in the sprint race with the tires. The Red Bull driver also expressed doubts about whether he has the race pace to match the McLarens, based on the lap times that Oscar Piastri achieved at the end of Saturday’s sprint race. Verstappen concluded by saying that, although it will be difficult, the race is long and anything can happen.
