Lando Norris crashes with Piastri in the Canadian Grand Prix

In a dramatic final sequence, Lando Norris, McLaren driver, collided with his teammate and rival in the fight for the championship, Oscar Piastri, with only four laps to go in the Canadian Grand Prix. Norris, who was in fifth position, was attempting a risky overtake on his teammate on the main straight when, unfortunately, he hit the rear of Piastri’s car against the wall. The incident resulted in the destruction of the front wing and the left tire of Norris’s single-seater. The accident forced Norris’s retirement from the race, which was ultimately won by George Russell, who started from pole position. The competition concluded under the safety car.

“I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. My mistake. Stupid me,” Norris declared on the radio immediately after the crash.
