Lando Norris Alerts on Risks in Formula 1

Lando Norris, a renowned Formula 1 driver, has expressed his concern about the possibility of a “horrible” accident in the competition, putting both drivers and spectators at risk. Norris, who started his championship defense in fifth position, was critical of the current Formula 1 regulations. The McLaren driver has pointed out that the new regulations, especially the “overtaking” mode which provides a sudden increase in speed, could create dangerous situations on the track.

It’s a mess, and we’re going to have a big accident, which is a shame because we’re driving and waiting for something to happen and for it to go very wrong and that’s not a good position to be in.

Verstappen, after a race in which he recovered from twentieth position to sixth, commented that he hopes Formula 1 and the FIA take action in this regard, highlighting that the criticisms are constructive and seek to improve the spectacle. George Russell, who secured a remarkable victory at the Australian Grand Prix, leads the championship. Russell, when questioned about Norris’ comments, suggested that the McLaren driver’s opinion might be influenced by on-track results.
