Doriane Pin Crowned F1 Academy Champion in Las Vegas

Doriane Pin, representing Mercedes, clinched the F1 Academy title this Sunday, surpassing Ferrari’s Maya Weug in the final race of the season held in Las Vegas. Pin secured the championship with a fifth-place finish in the competition. Pin arrived at the last race needing to finish in the top six, after her victory on Saturday. The 21-year-old driver achieved exactly that, finishing in fifth position, which gave her an insurmountable 15-point lead in the overall standings. The race on Sunday was won by American Chloe Chambers, followed by Brit Alisha Palmowski and Weug, who needed to win the last race to have a chance at the championship.

It’s incredible, I can’t believe it.
