Leclerc leads final practice for the British Grand Prix, marked by incidents

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc dominated the final practice session of the British Grand Prix, which ended early due to a red flag. The incident that caused the session to be closed involved Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto, who ended up in the gravel with a broken suspension after a spin. The session was interrupted a few minutes before its conclusion. Another incident that stopped the practice was starred by Haas rookie Oliver Bearman, who crashed into the barriers at the pitlane entrance, leaving debris on the track. Bearman attributed the incident to “cold brakes” over the radio. The session resumed minutes later. Leclerc set a time of 1:25.498, beating Oscar Piastri by 0.068 seconds. Max Verstappen placed third, just 0.019 seconds behind Piastri.
Charles Leclerc topped final practice on Saturday.
