Hamilton Compares Ferrari to “Someone Without Rhythm” After Qualifying in Canada
MONTREAL – Lewis Hamilton, after the qualifying of the Canadian Grand Prix, compared the experience of driving the Ferrari to dancing with “someone who has no rhythm”.
Hamilton, who qualified fifth, saw Ferrari again fail to compete for the pole position.
The seven-time world champion’s move to the team has been, so far, disappointing, and there are no clear signs of imminent improvement.
This car… is like someone who can’t dance. Someone who has no rhythm, you know? Trying to make someone who has no rhythm have rhythm is very, very difficult. That’s how it feels with this car.

Lewis Hamilton clasificó quinto, mientras que su compañero de equipo Charles Leclerc clasificó octavo.Ferrari arrived at the season with great optimism and enthusiasm, partly thanks to the arrival of Hamilton, who many considered the missing ingredient to end the team’s championship drought, which dates back to 2008.
Last year, Ferrari competed for the constructors’ championship with McLaren until the end and only lost in the final in Abu Dhabi, but the Italian team has clearly regressed this season.
Despite this, the team still holds second place in the constructors’ championship.
Before this weekend, Hamilton passionately defended team boss Fred Vasseur, following days of reports in Italy about the possible dismissal of the Frenchman.
Hamilton’s teammate, Charles Leclerc, qualified eighth.
Leclerc suffered an accident in the first practice session on Friday, which prevented him from participating in the second due to the chassis change needed to repair the car.
