F1: Verstappen vs Norris vs Piastri, battle for the title in the final races

What else is at stake in the final races?

In addition to the fight for the drivers’ title, the battle for second place in the constructors’ championship between Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari is crucial. The second place is important for prize money and momentum. However, a team could benefit from a lower position, as it allows more time in the wind tunnel for the development of next season’s car. After a good weekend in São Paulo, Mercedes is in second place with 398 points, with Red Bull 30 points behind. Ferrari, after a disastrous double retirement, is fourth with 362 points.
