This makes it Apple’s highest-grossing film and the most successful sports film of all time. Apple’s own CEO, Tim Cook, has confirmed that details are already being discussed for a possible continuation.

The film “F1” centers on the character of Sonny Hayes, played by Pitt, who unexpectedly returns to Formula 1 after an accident that marked his career. The production was characterized by its authenticity, using real race cars and scenes filmed at F1 events, including Pitt and Idris’ participation in the formation lap of the 2023 British Grand Prix. Furthermore, renowned drivers like Charles Leclerc and George Russell shared the podium with Pitt at last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, participating in key scenes for the film’s climax.
