Doriane Pin Crowned F1 Academy Champion in Las Vegas

Doriane Pin, representing Mercedes, won the F1 Academy title last Sunday, surpassing Ferrari’s Maya Weug in the final race of the season held in Las Vegas. Pin secured the championship with a commendable fifth place. Pin arrived at the last race needing, at a minimum, a sixth-place finish after her victory in Saturday’s race. The 21-year-old driver achieved exactly that, finishing in fifth position and securing an insurmountable 15-point lead in the overall standings. The race on Sunday was won by American Chloe Chambers, followed by Briton Alisha Palmowski and Weug, who needed to win to have a chance at the championship, completing the podium.

It’s incredible, I can’t believe it.
