Cadillac Bolsters F1 Team with Marc Hynes
Cadillac has announced the addition of Marc Hynes as Director of Race Operations, a strategic move prior to its debut in Formula 1. Hynes, known for his work with Lewis Hamilton, arrives to contribute his experience and vision to the team. His appointment seeks to optimize performance and efficiency in race operations. Hynes collaborated with Hamilton on the Project 44 initiative, serving as CEO between 2016 and 2021. He continued working with the seven-time world champion on non-racing matters until last year. This new stage marks Hynes’ reunion with Graeme Lowdon, head of the Cadillac team, with whom he had already worked in the past.Hynes’ role at Cadillac will focus on ensuring maximum performance in all race operations and optimizing processes between the sporting and technical departments. In addition, Hynes will manage the team’s driver program, which includes race drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez, as well as reserve driver Zhou Guanyu and test driver Colton Herta.Marc brings an exceptional combination of racing experience, strategic understanding, and people management to the team.

The arrival of Hynes is another step in Cadillac’s preparation for its inaugural season in F1.
