Cadillac F1 Presents Special Design for Testing in Barcelona
The new Formula 1 team, Cadillac, has revealed a special monochromatic livery that it will use specifically for the first test of the season in Barcelona. The team seeks to keep its “design secrets under wraps”. Cadillac, the eleventh team on the grid this year, which has signed Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, presented images of its temporary design on Tuesday, 13 days before the start of private testing in Barcelona. The design, developed through a collaboration between General Motors and Cadillac, presents a stealthy black and white design, and the team claims it is “distinct from the official race livery”. Its official launch will take place during an announcement at the Super Bowl on February 8th. Cadillac is eager to keep the details of its new car secret for now.The Barcelona test is just the beginning; we are eager to share our official race livery with fans around the world next month. After four days in Barcelona, F1 will then have two three-day tests in Bahrain before the season starts with the Australian Grand Prix on March 8.Our new test livery celebrates the heritage of Detroit design and the power of the global Cadillac Formula 1 team, while keeping our design secrets under wraps.
