Formula 1 has released the final trailer for the highly anticipated film about the motorsport competition, starring Brad Pitt and with scenes filmed in real races over the past two years.

The F1 movie, whose international release is scheduled for June 25 and June 27 in the United States, follows Sonny Hayes, played by Pitt, a veteran driver who returns to the fictional APX GP.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, of Top Gun Maverick, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film has had the collaboration of Lewis Hamilton, seven-time world champion.

Pitt shares the leading role with Damson Idris, whose character, Joshua Pearce, is Hayes’ young teammate.

The trailer, lasting almost 2 minutes and 30 seconds, delves into the internal conflict between Hayes and Pearce during the season.

It includes an incident between the two at Silverstone, where the film was shot, participating in numerous days of filming at the circuit and joining the real F1 grid on the formation lap before the 2023 race.

Pitt and Idris joined the pre-race anthem in 2023, alongside Max Verstappen, a scene that appears in the trailer.

Pitt was also filming at the grill before the 2024 edition, as well as a scene that included an interaction with Fernando Alonso in the press area after the race.

The trailer also shows footage from the Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, and Monza circuits.

The McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, home to the McLaren constructors’ champions, also appears as the base of APX GP.

The new trailer highlights Kerry Condon, who plays the team director, Kate McKenna.

A voice-over from McKenna is heard as she tells Hayes the values of teamwork and reprimands him for his selfish approach in his comeback.
